Right before I turned 30, I went out and bought a new moisturizer, all kinds of new facial cleansers and was determined to keep the clock "turned back". Then, I read an article from a magazine entitled "Thirties are the New 20's" which made me feel so much better. Thirty really is a scary number, but now being 33, I find that I am more comfortable and confident than ever before. I've tried new things, I even went back to college. At this point I like to fall back on the old saying that age is just a number, it's how you feel and put yourself out there that counts. Enjoy your thirties! They Rock (as my daughter would say...everything "rocks" in her world!) Ask me again though when I hit forty...gasp!!

I know what you mean, but it really didn't feel like I was getting older until I was a few years into my thirties. My daughter asked me this morning how old I was and I told her, 33. It sounded strange to me, because I don't really feel old, but 33 is definitely not 23. I do take solace in the fact that I am more comfortable with myself now and more willing to do what I need to do without regrets. I am sure this will be a new era of boldness for you...and I applaud you for wanting to be bold!
