Better Than Babysitting, LLC, owned and directed by Ina Barrett, is a professional babysitting service for children ages 3 to 10 years in an upscale new children's center located at 300 W. Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Southern Pines. With years of experience, we provide the best care possible and definitely know what kids like! We love what we do, and strive to provide you and your family with a loving, friendly and convenient service. Meanwhile, you can get out and about knowing that your children are having fun, and learning at the same time.

Our center is directly beneath the Sandhills Youth Soccer League Office and has 1,600 square feet of space for plenty of exciting activities. Our staff and teachers are licensed in Early Childhood Development and Certified in CPR, and First Aid. Our space per child ratio surpasses the State of N.C. Childcare Regulations as well as our staff per child ratio.

• Monday - Friday mornings 8:00 - 11:30 am
• Monday - Friday afternoons 12:00 - 3:30 pm
• Saturday mornings 9:00 - 12:30
• Saturday afternoons 1:00 - 4:30
• Friday and Saturday evenings
• No School and Early Release days
• Summers
• Children's Birthday Parties and other Special Occasions
• Group Children's Care Contracts for Class Reunions, Churches, Golf Outings, or other Organizations.

TUITION

And don’t forget, your first visit doesn’t require the Registration Fee. Once you and your child have tried our program, you can complete the registration process on your second visit.

ABOUT INA BARRETT

Ina Barrett, known by the kids as "Mrs. B" and the owner of Better Than Babysitting is the mother of 2 and the grandmother of 2. She has a BS in Early Childhood Education and directed a Childcare Center for over 15 years in a regional public school district in New England, which is currently still operating. She has worked as a preschool teacher for over 20 years and her hands on experience makes her the perfect childcare choice for your child.
