Southern Pines Parks and RecreationSummer Explorer’s Camp (5-7 & 8-13 years - Must have attended kindergarten) Play is our thing and children are encouraged to participate. Our commitment includes developing campers' life skills through group activities, exposure to diverse athletic games, creative and educational experiences. Participants will take part in a wide range of activities which include swimming, arts & crafts, environmental education, dance athletic games and more. Time: 8:00am - 5:30pm Location: Douglass Community Center (5-7 years), Drop off at SP Primary School Gym / Pick up at Douglass CC (8-13 years). Registration Fee: One time registration fee of $10r / $20nr non-refundable per child Early Bird Fee: $70r / $140nr per session (*Session 3: $60r / 120nr) After Early Bird Due date add an additional $10. Are you tired of hearing there is nothing to do? Is it raining and the kids need to be active? Well, come join us at the Sandhills Sports Center Summer Camp. The children will have a blast. They will rotate through the following activities: Soccer, Football, Baseball, Parachute Games, Dodgeball, Relay Races, Batting Cages, Rock Climbing, Bouncy Gym, Kids Games, Laser Tag, Obstacle Course, Arcade, Indoor Field, Outdoor Fields and much more! The Falcon Day Camp at The O'Neal School offers children opportunities covering a variety of quality experiences, both entertaining and educational. Campers will enjoy a full range of activities, including: Arts and Crafts, Science Explorations, Field Trips, Games! Games! Games!, Swimming, A Kaleidoscope of Sports! Campers are always under the supervision of a camp counselor as they rotate from activities and teachers during the day. Grouped by age/class, when possible, students will be grouped by grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8.Campers must be 5 years old by June 1, 2008. Session I: June 16-27 8:45am - 3:00pm Session II: July 14-25 8:45am - 3:00pm Fee for each 2-week session - $380 Fee for attending one week - $200 Each complete application form must be accompanied by a Physicians' Statement, an Emergency Contact form, and a $50 deposit.
