Half Day Camps

All Half Day Summer Camps run Monday – Friday and are offered for multiple weeks. They are great choices if you need a full week camp but don't want to send the kids all day long. Most half day summer camps take place in the morning.

Sandhills Sports Center

Are your children tired of sitting around the house all summer? Are you tired of hearing there is nothing to do? Is it raining and the kids need to be active? Well, come join us at the Sandhills Sports Center Summer Camp. The children will have a blast. They will rotate through the following activities: Soccer, Football, Baseball, Parachute Games, Dodgeball, Relay Races, Batting Cages, Rock Climbing, Bouncy Gym, Kids Games, Laser Tag, Obstacle Course, Arcade, Indoor Field, Outdoor Fields and much more!            Half day camp: 7:30am – 12:00pm (M-F)
Cost:   All Day: $80/week (20 child min)
          Half Day: $60/week (20 child min)
Drop-In: All Day: $20/day (please call ahead, space is limited)

Sandhills Academy of Gymnastics

Join us for a Fun-filled summer of morning camps. Pick and choose from 8 theme weeks. These camps are for boys and girls ages 3 to 13. The camps run Monday through Friday from 9am to Noon. The cost is $90 per week. Pre-registration is necessary and space is limited!

The Merry Hearts at Bethesda Church - Summer Camps

The Merry Hearts Summer Camps are open to children ages 2 1/2(two years old by Jan. 1 2008) thru 4years old. Camps operate from 8:30 - 12:30 Tues,Wed and Thurs. We provide the snack but we ask that the children bring their own lunch. Children should come to each camp wearing clothes and shoes that can get wet (bathing suits or shorts and t-shirts) or whatever they are comfortable in. The morning starts with outside centers that include water tables and sprinklers. Arts and crafts, songs, stories, outside games and freeplay on the playground fill the rest of the morning.

We are offering 8 weeks of camps.
Tuition is 90 per week.

Camp themes are as follows:

Water Water Everywhere - June 10-12 and June 17-19
A Day at the Beach - July 1-3 and July 15 - 17
Caterpillar to Butterfly - July 22-24 and July 29 - 31
How Does Your Garden Grow? - Aug. 12-14 and Aug. 19-21

The Merry Hearts at Bethesda Church offers a Moms Morning Out and Two's program for the youngester in your family. Spaces are still available for fall enrollment.

Aberdeen Parks & Recreation

Communities In Schools, Aberdeen Elementary School and the Town of Aberdeen Parks & Recreation Department partnered to provide a 'Healthy Kids' Summer Camp sponsored by Moore Regional Hospital Auxiliary Foundation.

Where: The Recreation Station (The Town of Aberdeen's New Parks & Recreation Building)

Dates: June 16th - August 7th NO CAMP 4th of July Week
Time: 9AM - 12PM
Cost: $5.00 per week for Aberdeen Elementary School Students who are Aberdeen Residents and $7.00 for students who are non-residents.
$10.00 per week for Aberdeen Residents
$25.00 per week for non-residents

Summer Fun Camp (Half Day)

(5-7 & 8-13 years - must have attended kindergarten)
Enjoy all the fun in 1/2 the time! If you're in the mood for: friends, games, water balloons, blind-folded ice cream eating contests, tie-dye, weird science experiments, catching a fish, painting, something to laugh about, we've got the camp for YOU! A $5r/$10nr non-refundable deposit (which will be applied to the weekly fee) is required to hold your spot for each session.

Kinderfun 1/2 Day (ages 4-6 years)

Sing Alongs, Music, Dramatics, Art, Group Dynamics, Fun, Play. Put them together and you have much more than a camp, you have a Special Summer Experience for your child. New activities will enchant even the hardest to please. Space is limited, so early registration is suggested. A one-time registration fee of $10r/$20nr (per child) is required. Add $10 to fees received after the Early Bird Due Date. (Spaces are not guaranteed after the Early Bird Due Date if not paid in full). This project is supported by the Arts Council of Moore County with Funds from the Grassroots Arts Program of the NC Arts Council, a state agency. Ms. Brenda and Ms. Dani instruct.

Wild World of Nature Camp (7-12 years)

Enjoy an educational adventure discovering what the natural world does behind the scenes. When you look outside, you may see birds flitting, butterflies fluttering, and trees and flowers changing with the seasons, but underneath the calm, beautiful exterior, there is an amazing race for survival going on! Learn all about the icky, amazing, and sometimes unbelievable goings on in nature with this interesting and active camp. As things in nature change, so does this camp, so every session will be slightly different. A one-time registration fee of $10 resident / $20 non-resident (per child) is required.

Pinehurst Parks & Recreation

KAMP KIDWORKS
Ages 4 – 12
Co-sponsored with FirstHealth Center for Health and Fitness. This ½ day camp has a ton of fun in store for your little camper! Daily activities provide adventure, wonder and fun in a safe, supervised program. Swimming, crafts, games, sports and more will highlight mornings of excitement. Registration should be done separately for each one week session your child will attend. Registration forms will be available at the Recreation Department and the Fitness Center. Drop-off is earlier than 7:30 a.m. and campers must be picked up by 12:30 p.m. A fee will be charged for late pick up. No lunch will be served and youth should bring their own snack each day. Registration will be open until camp is full.
