Tumbling
Summer runs June 1, 2015 to August 14, 2015

Basic Tumbling

In this one hour Basic Tumbling class, athletes will learn the basic of tumbling: rolls, handstands, limbers, cartwheels and roundoffs. Conditioning and flexability are also emphasized.

Intermediate Tumbling

Tumbling Intermediate is a one hour class for athletes who can already do a handstand, cartwheel and back limber but wish to learn a back handspring. This class will focus on proper technique for back handsprings, roundoff back handspring and lead-up drills for flipping. Strength and flexibility training will also be included.

Advanced Tumbling

This class takes the basics learned in Beginner and Intermediate and perfects technique and strength to teach advanced tumbling skills such as roundoff back handsprings, back flips and twisting. Students must have a standing back handspring to enter this one hour class.

Basic T&T

If you have boys or girls ages 5 and up who have lots of energy and love to run, jump, bounce and have fun…then this is the class for them! In power tumbling we learn acrobatic skills such as rolls, cartwheels, handstands and limbers. On trampoline and double mini trampoline we learn center of gravity, air sense, jumping technique, basic positions for jumps and flipping fundamentals. Besides having loads of fun in this class, your child will increase his/her endurance, strength, agility and confidence. Safety is stressed at all time! USAG level 1 and 2 are taught and tested in this 1 hour class and students.

Intermediate T&T

This class is designed to perfect the skills taught in the Beginning T&T classes and build on them. This class is co-ed for ages 6 and up. In tumbling we learn front and back walkovers, round-offs, beginning backhandsprings. On trampoline and double mini trampoline we take the flipping fundamentals and expand on them. Basic combinations of drops are also perfected. USAG Level 2 tested in this level.

Advanced T&T

This class builds upon the intermediate skills with emphases on backhandspings, front and back flips. USAG levels 3 and 4 are tested in this level. If you are wanting to compete or just love to flip this class is for you! Placement by coach’s recommendation only.

Girls Basic gymnastics

girls Basic is for ages 5 yrs and older. This is a fun recreational class designed to learn the basic building blocks of gymnastics. Each of the gymnastics events introduces a different world of challenges for a child’s mind and body. Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Floor exercise are taught plus Trampoline and Tumble Track. Emphasis is placed on developing strength, flexibility, and coordination, body awareness as well as focus, concentration and self-confidence! 1 hr. class

Girls Intermediate

Girls Intermediate is for girls ages 6 and up who have completed the Girls Basics program. This This is a 1 and 1/2 hour class.
Girls Advanced

Girls Advanced is for girls who have completed the Girls Intermediate program and are 6 years old or older. The USAG Level 2 skills and routines are taught while working on new skills and perfecting current ones. Greater attention is placed on form and technique. This is a 2 hour class.

Developmental Girls – Level 1-3

After mastering all the skills for Basic, Intermediate and Advanced girls it is time to start working on the USAG compulsory levels. This class will train the offical USAG compulsory routines and skills. This is serious gymnastics for the serious gymnast!
Gymnastics for Boys

Boys Basic

basic  Gymnastics for Boys is for ages 5 yrs old and older. This is a fun recreational class designed to learn the basic building blocks of gymnastics. Each of the gymnastics events introduces a different world of challenges for a child’s mind and body. Vault, Bars, Rings, Parallel Bars and Floor exercise are taught plus Trampoline and Tumble Track. Emphasis is placed on developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness as well as focus. concentration and self-confidence!

Boys Intermediate

boys  Intermediate is for those who have completed Basic Gymnastics for Boys and are 6 years old or older. This class is designed to perfect the skills taught in the Basic Gymnastics Boys class and builds on them. The USAG Level 1 routines are taught on all 6 Olympic Men’s events plus trampoline. Greater emphasis is placed on strength, flexibility, and endurance. This is a one hour class.

Boys Advanced

Boys Advanced is for gymnasts who have completed the Intermediate Boys and are 6 years old or older. The USAG Level 3 skills and routines are taught while working on new skills and perfecting current ones. Greater attention is placed on form and technique. This is a 2 hour class.
