Photography is a SNAP!

Want to take better photos of your friends and event in your life?
Want to Improve your Image?

With this one-day, youth photography workshop, spend a day learning the basics of photography and design. Then learn how to get the most out of your camera on a “Photo Safari” on the Campbell House grounds and adjacent park. Finally, return to the classroom for a friendly critique of your work and a print of your best shot of the day.

Your session will be led by Douglas Fry, a professional photographer and educator. Doug teaches photography and science atSandhillsTheaterArtsRenaissanceSchooland has been taking photos since he was in the 6th grade.

DATE:  Saturday, April 21, 2012

TIME:  10:00 am – 4:00 pm

LOCATION:  Arts Council of MooreCountyat Campbell House,482 E. Connecticut Ave., Southern Pines, NC

COST:   $25 for Arts Council members / $35 for nonmembers

Maximum Class Size: Limited to 20 students – So hurry and sign up today!

Required materials:

  • A digital camera that uses an SD memory chip and has a fully-charged battery.  No cell phone cameras, please.
  • A sack lunch
  • Must be a student in grades 6-12.
  • A desire to improve your images!
