Scotland Riding Academy welcomes Six Time World Champion, Cackie Loughlin Stephenson. She is now teaching saddle seat equitation and performance horse showing to riders of all ages and levels. Owner Jeff Shelley will continue to specialize in starting colts, and training show horses for under saddle and harness driving competitions. Jeff also trains the roadster and fine harness driver.
The farm is located in Laurel Hill, near Laurinburg, Aberdeen, Pinehurst and Southern Pines, North Carolina. The facility has 22 stalls, a 200 x 60 foot indoor arena, and a 45 x 45 indoor lunge ring. With a fun, family oriented and safe environment, they enjoy helping horse enthusiasts achieve their goals.

Birthday Parties:
Plan your birthday party with us! Pick from the following themes or come up with your own and we’ll help you with the details! Popular themes are Princess, Pirate, and Cowboy….Or disco with OUR BIRTHDAY PONY, CISCO!
On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, children of all ages can enjoy a two-hour party in our fully-indoor riding facility. All of the party-goers will ride a horse, learn lots of “horsey fun” facts, take part in crafts and play games! The birthday girl or boy gets extra time in the saddle and loves to feed the birthday horse or pony peppermint candy!
Some of the fun activities at our birthday parties include:
* barn games
* sack races
* tug-of-war
* find the candy in the haystack (crowd favorite!)
* the limbo
* and more!
We get creative with our crafts!
Parties are $200 for
20 children, add $5 for each additional child. Includes all of the above plus every party goer will receive a “FREE RIDING LESSON” voucher, and clean-up is included!
