T-Ball, Baseball and Adult Flag Football

Aberdeen Parks and Recreation announces:

T-Ball
Come join Aberdeen’s Fall T-Ball League.  This activity is available for children ages 4-5 (age as of August 1, 2010).  Practices and games will be held at Colonial Heights Park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (Saturday mornings if needed).  Practices will begin the first week in September.   Fees are $12 for residents (must reside within city limits) and $25 for non-residents.  Registration will start August 9th.  Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Department offices will be open for night registration on August 19th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The office is located at 301 Lake Park Crossing in Aberdeen Lake Park.  Birth Certificates are required for all new participants.  You can also visit our website at www.townofaberdeen.net and print out a registration form, under the Parks and Recreation Youth Athletics section.   Registration forms and payment can be dropped off at the Parks and Recreation office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday, or mailed to P.O. Box 785, Aberdeen, NC 28315, Attn: Joseph Keel.   Registration Form and Payment must be received by August 25th.  Registration and payments will not be accepted after 5p.m. on August 25th.  Coaches are needed, so contact the Parks and Recreation Department offices at 944-PARK!

Fall Baseball

Adult Co-ed Flag Football
Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Department is conducting a Co-ed Flag Football League for adults ages 18 and up (age as of September 1, 2010) who are interested in playing football. Practices and games will be held at Colonial Heights Park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (Saturday mornings if needed). Registration will open for teams on September 6th.  The league will consist of a maximum of 8 teams (first 8 teams to register will be eligible).  Mandatory Captains/Coaches Meeting will be held on September 27th.  Practices will start end of September and games will start the beginning of October, 2010.  Each team must turn in a completed roster as part of your team’s eligibility.  Fees are $12 for residents (must reside within city limits) and $25 for non-residents.  Birth Certificates are required for all new participants.  You can also visit our website at www.townofaberdeen.net and print out a registration form, under the Parks and Recreation Youth Athletics section.   Registration forms and payment can be dropped off at the Parks and Recreation office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday, or mailed to P.O.
