As part of the new Palustris Festival, Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a Children’s Area on Saturday, March 27th. The activities are scheduled from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Aberdeen Lake Park. Activities include make and take art and craft projects, clowns, the Smoke House, an inflatable moon bounce, an Easter hat parade, an Easter egg hunt, games, face painting, beauty queens, prizes, and lots of fun! All the activities are free and for children ages 10 and under. All citizens are encouraged to attend this event. For more information, contact Leigh Baggs at 944-PARK.
