The 6th Annual Spelling Bee for Literacy

The 6th Annual Spelling Bee for Literacy returns to Owens Auditorium at SCC on Thursday, February 25. Please save the date and plan to come. This is the Literacy Council’s #1 fundraising event, and we definitely need your support. As always, admission to the Spelling Bee is FREE, with OPEN SEATING on a FIRST-COME BASIS until all seats are filled. Unfortunately, for each the past three years, we’ve had to turn away 80–100 people who arrived too late to get seats. Our relocation from the Sunrise Theater to the much larger Owens Auditorium was supposed to solve the problem, but it didn’t; last year we actually turned away more people than ever before.

For the 2010 Spelling Bee, we’ve created a way for you to GUARANTEE yourself a seat.
