The O’Neal School has celebrated over 40 years of educating children in the Sandhills. O’Neal is a college preparatory school dedicated to the development of the academic excellence, strength of character and physical well-being of its students in an environment where integrity, self-discipline and consideration for others are fundamental. The Core Knowledge curriculum is used for grades Pre-K3 through eighth. O’Neal has been named a National Visitation Site by the Core Foundation. Grades nine through 12 have more traditional instruction with a focus on college preparation. The school enables 100 percent of its graduates to be accepted to colleges and universities across the nation. O’Neal holds dual accreditation by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS).
